Meet Josie and Paula

Co-owners of Urban Goods + Garden, a curated retail shop and interior design studio.

With over 40 years of combined design experience, Josie Whitmore and Paula Smith own Urban Goods and Garden, an interior design business and home décor store in Wilmington, NC. They opened their shop in November 2022. Paula Smith has over 20 years of experience in the design field. Josie Whitmore previously had a career in merchandising and design for Wrangler Jeans and VF Corporation before pursuing interior design. Urban Goods and Garden provides full-service design, and space planning.
